Untitled

Location

You quivered at the sound of rain
as it seduced you into a wicked
pleasure of placidity. I’ll never be
able to comprehend how magnificently
beautiful you looked as your tainted
green eyes were fixated on the ripples
of raindrops cascading down your window-
how you smiled tremendously at the
icy grey sky that looked like Winter in
the middle of July.

Your passion for rainy days ignited
my admiration for you; every day that
it rains, I gaze out my window and I
know your gazing out of yours, too.
I beam of the acknowledgement that we
are both looking at the same cloudy sky
that confines the moonlight.
