Until we meet again

Fri, 12/29/2017 - 20:17 -- Cyndicx

Dear, Grandpa

Howdy, my sweet cowboy.

We haven't seen each other in years.

Yes, there are nights where I still shed tears.

You tried to act like everything was fine, even though death was near.

Life was supposed to be all sunshine.

But instead, it was a thin line.

Stood by your side everytime I left school.

In hopes that the doctors were wrong and you would be alive for long.

But watching you suffer and became weak was so heartbreaking.

Everyone came to hug and kiss you, I was the last one.

I gave you the best hug and you kissed me on the cheek never wanting to let you go.

Saying "I love you princess." You won your fight with two types of cancer.

I was at my all-time low.

I hated letting you go.

But you're not suffering anymore...

I gained an angel four years ago.

An angel that always watched over me.

Until we meet again I love and miss you so much.
