Unspoken Thoughts

We cry on the inside,

thinking the best thing to do is hide.

The fear of pain gets the best of us.

We justify, it's better this way but internally we make a fuss.

We complain, holding the torment and hope it'll disappear.

But we fan the flame until it's too much to bare.

Outrage and dumb decisions arise.

Actions are performed and decided on and not all that wise.

We make it hard on ourselves, by keeping it all in the deep.

But the best thing to do is to release and accept the time to weep.

Be open with your unspoken thoughts,

Let someone in and bring them into your knots.

It will not be simple,

it will feel uncomfortable like a person magnifying your pimple.

It will be painful,

but you will see that it's wonderful.

It will be worth the fight,

When you decide to trust in the light.
