Unnamed Lover

I try to spend the night with someone new

I’m on a repeat, always with you

All of the flames, yours

Is the guilt required when I’m out of all doors

I can feel your presence in my fingers

Even when you are not near

No, I’m all by myself

I hated my friends for taking you away from the shelf

Of all the lies you told me

My stagnant dilemma was the key

I sit outside my room this time of the night

All alone, staring at the stars, all too white.

I take her inside now,

My fingers touching her around the corners.

Like I have done day after day with an upraise

My life is better with a half gone cigarette anyways.
