UNMASK ME 1
My phone rang and 'twas her voice that sang
Sweetly the rhyme one on time
My ears tingled; the sound floats with flowery mingled
I heard again and again, so plain
'Unmask me' tonight in a 'blue light'
Let me bask in the clue of the blue
I am tender, yea, no more to be a pretender
Have l not grown? Have l not known
The smear of your loving care
Take me to the dance and have a chance
Behold my smile hidden within my file
Oh! Unmask me tonight, not too much, l ask.
