United

With our flags waving

And our light ignited

We stand before our grave

And call ourselves United

Our land, strong and proud

Our history, brash and bold

But what accountability is hold

Our heads in our own clouds

Surronding the bank, there is a mob

Whines about pay, taxes, and minimum wage

Yet when a homeless man comes to plea a stage

We shout, "Why don't you get a job?"

Why does that starving family matter?

It's none of your business

Empty air fills their platter

While your mind slaves away on your IPhone

Our Country should not bring us shame

For it has done remarkable things

People should re live it's name

As the United States of America
