Unfortunate

Hebrews 5:14 New English Translation (NET Bible)

14 But solid food is for the mature, whose perceptions are trained by practice to discern both good and evil.

Unfortunate

Drive to fame in His Name may be detrimental.

Pride will blossom uncontrollably like the tossing of the waves

It will pick up pollution for that is fundamental

As flesh and old nature will appear from darkened caves

History is full of those who fell into this self-made trap

Men thought they could handle the pressures of elevation

It does not take long for their feeble will to snap

Trying to escape reality and the state of self-frustration

Only a selected few are to handle fame in true fashion

In others, bitterness and dryness hide  in a fake facade

Death in them exposes their deprived detrimental condition

As their loveless lives of false precept in darkness depart
