Unequally yoked

2 Corinthians 6:14&16

Unequal Partners

14 Do not become partners with those who do not believe, for what partnership is there between righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship does light have with darkness? 16 And what mutual agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God, just as God said, “I will live in them and will walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”

Do not be unequally yoked my friend, separate self from unbelievers.

Be not yoked to them ... for you are the temple of God.

You may move about them and shine a light in darkness

that enslaves the multitude ... as your pour out your love.

Love is always outgoing ... not ever to be kept for self.

It is like a stream of purity ... to be exposed on every flank.

All creation drinks of it ... so life may spring forward

and all colors under the Son ... will raise their hands in thanks.

Like a butterfly in the wind ... and landing on a flower

or a buzzing bee getting strength from it

so are we to be ... as a life sustaining shower

that pours freely ... without a restraining limit.
