Brown v. Board
And they thanked the lord
Rosa -- Separate but equal,
Even if you’re feeble
NAACP/SNCC/CORE
All started arising from the floor
Malcolm X and Martin Luther
Civil rights booster
Violent or Non-violent
What will keep them silent?
I Have a Dream
As our brothers and sisters scream
Little Rock 9
It’s about time
Sit-ins became classic
Attacks were so drastic
Railroads, Buses, and Freedom riders
Paved the way for a lot of outsiders
Johnson, Kennedy and Eisenhower
Panthers paraded black power
Fights, Bombings, and Riots
All fell a little too quiet
Whips, Clubs, and Tear gas
The KKK set out to harass
Grandfather, Taxes, and Literacy
Made voting harder deliberately
