Underwater

Once upon a time,

under the water there looked to be a girl of the age of thirteen.

She had big blue eyes, long brown hair, and beautiful legs that were so pale.

Her face was sickly looking, she had blue and purple under her eyes.

Her cheeks were so flushed you would think she added too much blush.

She hated her body and wished she were loved by those of the in crowd.

She did not eat for weeks on end.

She became as light as a feather and pale as a ghost.

She was ridiculed for how she became and did not know if she should hang.

She turned the faucet on and entered the tub.

She stepped in fully clothed and waited until the water was warm.

She dunk herself fully underwater and slowly faded away.

The smile on her face could never heal her parents hate.

For they never loved nor care for her and did not care she lay to never awake again.

The end.
