Under one roof in a thousand years
A girl will draw what she sees
What was once green was now the opposite of plenty
The nations had squabbled from the East to the West
Each wanting more for the people they blessed
The soldiers and civilians cried over the travesties of war
Country against country, ever mother, daughter and sister, losing a brother once more
History... History... You repeat
Did the deaths of millions not teach?
Did the bomb that dropped not hurt?
Did the mothers not cry and the husbands die?
This is what I see, division and divide, a separation marred by war
The roof has been made and the house has not been built
Can decisions already made be changed?
