Unbreakable

There is a star missing from the sky tonight.

Her heart no longer beats, yet still she breathes.

Each breath, a suffocating memory. Each sound, a seizure.

She trembles, yet you will never see her cry.

She's unbreakable from being broken.

Not even time can asuage the strain of enduring the fracture.

In one moment, deprived of poise, sentiment, and vivacity.

She embraces the frigid darkness she awaits.

Teardrops hit her skin like acid rain, yet she feels nothing.

She merely sneers at the detrimental waves, knowing nothing can touch her now.

She's inconquerable from being conquered.

Arms spread wide, the cleansing rain washes away the remnants of who she used to be, nothing will stop her now.

Wow this is fantastic. I love your description of how a girl that has been hurt becomes unbreakable because she has experienced pain. I also love your use of vocabulary. Please read my poems and tell me what you think.
