Two Mountains

Two mountains before me have been put,

 Towards the first I look,

behind it towers the second so big I shook,

gazing, my time I took,

towards the first I move,

but having accelerated I arrive soon.

I approach the base,

I stare upwards seeing the mountains face,

it blocks my sight of the one behind

but I don’t mind

The smaller mountains beauty is enough to get me by

and it’s there that I say goodnight.

never knowing the second mountains might.
