Two Faced

You lose yourself in a mirror
Knowing that part of you wants to cry,
But the other part has this desire
This burdening want to fight back those tears
Of the past,
And end a life
As you look back and the past works its way
You remember the times that you promised
To the people you loved
But that monster,
The overwhelming feeling
That has caused you so much
You throw those promises away
Out of anger
And despite your refuge
You lose…
So, you’re the one holding the gun
The one with pain in your heart
But you don’t care about that other person
You don’t care that his life, his struggles
They’re worse than yours.
Pulling the trigger leads you back to the mirror…
You lose yourself in a mirror
Knowing that part of you wants to cry,
But the other part has this desire
This burdening want to fight back those tears
Of the past,
And end your life
