Two events

Philippians 1:19-20

19 For I know that this will turn out for my deliverance

through your prayer and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,

20 according to my earnest expectation and hope that in nothing I shall be ashamed,

but with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ will be magnified in my body,

whether by life or by death.

Two events

In life are two events … the Fall and Salvation

Twice the price was paid … Love’s true intentions

The first brought a curse … on all that lived

As death controlled … and could not forgive

But then came Life … bathed in love and care

to present to us … unconditional grace so fair

To lead us by the heart … into Life’s Eternal glow

to glory there forever … to escape hate’s inferno

It took a price so great … valued far beyond creation

More than all we understand … to bring us Salvation

To take that gift … in love so freely given

Just accept it now … so forever living
