with a blink of an eye
a snap of a finger
a lot can happen within
split seconds
all it took was 30 mins
30 mins
for a tornado
to swirl in anger
spinning faster than beat boys on cardboard
grew larger than an angry giant
as it whirled its way to oklahoma
all you saw was buildings rising
school wrapping in arms of powerful winds
places being destroyed
loud screams
children cries
people scattered like scared animals
running recklessly in complete disarray
this tragic event occurred in the month of may
when it was over
all you saw was an area
that reminds me of a junkyard
in desolate neighborhoods in the bronx
everything was abolish
cars were demolish worse than seeing a monster truck event
bodies are laid
expressions of disbelief is numb
utterance of sorrows
wincing in pain
my heart wanted to burst out in tears
when two of the victims was
a 4 and 7 month old baby
my condolescences goes out to all
to lost ones
can we have a moment of silence!!!!!!!!!!!
we will recover
we will resurge to a new beginning
calamity of this catastrophic occasion
has humbled me
i'm grateful for all i have
everything that life has given, i cherish it all
because this could be us
never take anything for granted
