The Twilight Blaze

The Twilight Blaze

Shining brightly, ridden in the skies

Forevermore I cannot deny

A dream of long ago

These secrets I come to know.

I came to you for guidance

Which lasts until Night's silence

Hidden in the dusk, you sneak

For what lies below you seek.

I will never stay so close to one

In life above all, hold me.

Atone.

Through the darkness of the Night

She can still see your light

Which, ever so gleams

Like, running river streams.

Over the great oceans you reign

Her guardian, the very same

To whom none compare

Silently, standing there.

She will never stay so close to one

In life above all, you held her.

Atone.

Far out of his grasp

This one sight that never last

Until the first peaks of light

That is when he lost sight.

Shimmering with a luminescent blaze

That gleams daggers through the summer haze

Silently, patiently, you anticipate

All to which is coming in a kindly state.

He will never stay so close to one

In life above all, you held him.

Atone.

And now we have come to foresee

In the goodness of your deeds

All the many years of childrens yearnings'

Such small desires burning.

Every night when the world sleeps

Far past the mountain steeps

Bring joy to many with your wonders

Far across where heavens thunder.

As gleaming lights cross the sky

The magnificence seems so far

The splendor of the star.
