"The Turtle And The Lion"

The green, shell-covered fellow lurks quietly about

He tries to avoid the attention of the others

deep down inside he wishes  to let his true self out

wondering how he would be if he were raised by a different mother

he secretly envies the lion for his loud, gregarious roar

He fears getting in the way or being a bother
