Turn that Frown Upside Down
Location
Wake up early.
Can't fall back asleep.
At least you're alive.
Get in your car.
Get stuck in traffic.
At least you have your own transportation.
Have a terrible day at work.
Last in line to pick up your pay check.
At least you have a job to pay your bills.
Arrive home.
Locked out of your house.
At least you have a place to call home.
We do it every day.
We're only human right?
We allow ourselves
to be overcome.
Forget how much we have.
It's a personal choice,
really.
How we take on the world.
But if I could change one thing.
Just one.
As simple as it may be.
I'd change the attitudes
of every living individual.
So that a more postive light
may come upon everyone's lives.
So that the world can be at best
just a little more bearable.
So that when the neighbor's dog
wakes you up at 2 AM,
you're thankful because at least you can hear,
and you're thankful because at least you're breathing.
If I could change one thing
I'd make everyone's attitude positive.
For positive attitude
provokes positive thought,
and positive thought
provokes positive action,
and positive action
makes for a positive world.
