Truly Alone

My eyes open,

If I was truly alone,

All I would need is God.

If I must walk by myself,

Up and down the paths of forever,

Then with Jesus at my side, I know that I am saved.

By grace, he won me over, by his death on cross, I became his.

If I should be all to myself, and anyone had found me,

I hope they would see how strong I had become with the Holy One.

If I should have to face life without food, drink or shelter,

I would choose to love instead.

If I was truly loving,

Then I would never have to worry,

Because then, I would truly,

Never be alone.
