True Beauty
Sanity reaches out her hand
To stop the unstoppable comet,
Singed flesh to show
For the one she saved.
She was damaged
But she was whole.
Is there only happiness
For those oblivious to
The comet's fate?
Letting it fall,
Your beautiful skin remains.
But can you know beauty without destruction?
I'll burn you until
I can breathe
And I'll fall until
I can no longer.
