True Angels

When I was a child,
I’m always dreaming that I’m in heaven with angels in my side.
And there were also angels in the surroundings,
Some were hiding,
Some were smiling,
Some were playing their harps while humming.
There were times, I heard them singing for me a lullaby.
Some were floating above the sky,
Fluttering everywhere like a butterfly.
In their home, there were no sadness.
All that’s living were happiness.
Everything were gold, frankincense and myrrh;
Must be handled with love and care.
I saw angels praying in the corner
And they also taught me a little prayer.
So, I wished that they would always be with me day and night.
Guiding me, so I could sleep tight.
Wanting them to protect me and fight like a knight.
But as I grew up…
I wonder why they’re not coming up.
I wonder why the angels had gone out.
But now I know…
The true angels are not found in the dream that I used to know.
