Troubles writing poetry
I cannot think of a specific topic. Poetry
is often abstract, yet concrete in its
abstraction, like a ruler of an dying kingdom
who wields power over naught but his own mind.
When we analyze poetry in class, often tmes
Some will make things up to analyze in order to fill
awkward silences after a question is asked.
Poetry tells history, of times long past, of emotions felt in foregone eras;
at least, that's what English teachers say, it's their job. But sometimes,
it really is hard to get into a poem about the eternal beauty of a grecian urn. On
the other hand, cold peaches and apologizing can be quite enjoyable when well parodied.
More often than not, to my simple mind, poetry seems to jump from one topic to another,
but somehow we find all the connections.
I'm done.
