Troubled waters
Hey there dad do you remember me?
I’m your daughter, the one you raised but never come and see.
I remember when I was growing up you would’ve never left my side.
Now you can’t even speak to me, without a audience or only if you hide.
I feel your family is being replace, but me I’ll be alright.
You’re really hurting your mother though, I hope you can sleep at night.
I hope the bridges that you’ve burned don’t get you when it ends.
I hope the life that you have chosen was worth losing all your friends.
As much as I love you it really hurts me to say.
That you’ve lost a lot of my respect maybe you’ll gain it back one day.
