Troubled waters

Hey there dad do you remember me?

I’m your daughter, the one you raised but never come and see. 

I remember when I was growing up you would’ve never left my side. 

Now you can’t even speak to me, without a audience or only if you hide.

I feel your family is being replace, but me I’ll be alright. 

You’re really hurting your mother though, I hope you can sleep at night. 

I hope the bridges that you’ve burned don’t get you when it ends.

I hope the life that you have chosen was worth losing all your friends. 

As much as I love you it really hurts me to say.

That you’ve lost a lot of my respect maybe you’ll gain it back one day.
