"Trigger"

Location

I know it's only a matter of time

before I crack.

Before that one professor

Pulls that trigger the last bit of the way.

Igniting the fire

Pull it, I dare you.

Set off the beast

That no one sees lurking below.

You don't know how fucked up I can be.

How my mind disfigures and warps.

How long until the screams begin to rip from my throat?

Tearing at the once gentle vocal chords.

What a beautiful death,

Choking on your own blood.

Fingernails digging into my palms,

Ripping skin from muscle.

Just make it stop,

I silently plea.

Never.

Says my mind.
