Trayvon Martin

How can a hood strike fear

How can a rainbow in his hand make you feel threatened

A can of dollar ice tea makes made you tremble

And in a fury of white hot rage you felt dominance kick in

By simply being black he made you feel threatened

You couldn't have that

Oh no that young man can't hold anything over you

You took action

Went a little too far

Now that rainbow in one hand

And dollar iced tea in the other aren't there

Because those bullets you shot at him tore them out

It made you feel like a man

You even got away with it.
