Travel Partner

You took me out to California twice, once in 1996 and once in 1999

We took pictures of many famous landmarks, including the Hollywood sign

We stayed at The Beverly Hilton and saw James Caan, Patrick Swayne and Martin Kove

We should go back to California again because to us it will never get old

We saw the death site of many celebrities including River Phoenix, Nicole Simpson and John Belushi

And how The Dearly Departed Tours told the story of their tragic Hollywood history

We met a few celebrities out there like Brian-Austin Green, Vanessa Marcil & Christine Taylor

And none of that would have been possible without my Travel Partner

I will always remember standing underneath the canopy of The Viper Room

And after meeting Christine Taylor, I mysteriously lost my appetite for food

I remember Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Bel-Air, Brentwood, Malibu and Pacific Palisades

When we saw Brian Benben shopping for groceries at the store we were amazed

We walked by The Chateau Marmont, the death site for John Belushi

It was there we saw Andy Dick and he said hi to us in the street

We drove all the way out to Pasadena to see the late Robert Reed's house

We stayed and took pictures in front of his former residence until it got dark out

We went to Sunset Gower Studios to see Christine Taylor's show Party Girl

When I met this talented actress it was one of the best experiences in the world

She talked to us for a few minutes and it will be an experinece I will always remember

But none of that would have been possible without my Travel Partner

You took the family down to Florida many times and many resturants inlduing Dairy Queen

When you stole those two waters from the store, I couldn't believe what I was seeing

You took me to Sanibel and Captiva Islands and we saw the pelicans and the wonderful wildlife

You also took me to Everglades National Park and we saw ever alligator in sight

There were trips down the shore and to Wildwood to the house close to the beach

You didn't want the kids walking on the old cement floors without anything on their feet

There were trips to Atlantic City and those trips with our parents were always memorable

Even when the elevators didn't work at Atlantic Palance and you told me that was unacceptable

There were trips to Long Beach Island's and going to Loveladies to see Jon Bon Jovi's house

Whether it was his house or someone else's house, I really don't know now

But no matter what house it was, traveling with you was always an exciting adventure

I will always consider myself lucky to have you as my Travel Partner
