Sometimes I feel trapped

     inside my own skin

     behind my own walls

Trapped by my own decisions

Sometimes I feel trapped

     under this roof

     not able to choose for myself where to go

     forced to do this or go there or be that

Trapped by the decisions of others

Sometimes I wish I could just break free

Not be someone else

But simply be me.
