Trapped

From dawn 'till dusk I am enclosed,

In my own world yet so exposed.

Passing by, a mere obsever,

Using distance as my life's preserver.

Close enough to touch, too far away to see,

Entirely imprsoned under the the veil of looking free.

My mind must schlepp the mysteries of the world,

Just wistfully wishing to for ever be unfurled.

Trying to hide in the shadows; to never be shown,

And all I know, I learned alone.

Sadly I am now currenty isolated,

Slowly growing day by day even more devastated.

I am trapped, though my mind is astray.

Stuck in a game I never remember asking to play.
