Transparent Walls

Location

These walls have secrets

If we asked them,

I wonder what they’d say.

These walls have a story to tell.

If only they could speak.

I bet what they’d tell us

Would make our knees weak.

These walls are colored lightly;

But their inner darkness is obsolete.

I bet these walls have secrets;

What kinds would they tell?

I wonder if they’d tell us lies

Or the ugly truth of it all?

These walls have secrets;

They know mine and yours.

The secrets that surround us

The one’s we’ll never tell.

Our secrets are all around us,

They’re hiding in the walls.

What if these walls could talk?

I wonder what they’d say.

I bet they’d tell us secrets,

Millions,

Every single day.
