Transformers

A prayer is said and believed in the heart

After it’s said, the new life starts

I don’t mean robots, but spirits transformed

The old life is dead, a new life is born

Thanks to the perfect sacrifice, the veil was torn

Here’s one thing that’s misunderstood

People don’t obey God the way that they should

He chose to send His only begotten son just because He could

His son, Jesus, died on a cross made of wood

He rose from the grave three days later

He saved us from death, he earned the name Savior

So even now, we’re forgiven of bad behavior

But don’t think for a second that you can do as you please

Because you want to spend life in Heaven for eternity

Yes He forgives and yes he always will

But don’t take advantage, because Hell is real

So once you’re transformed, be renewed in the heart and mind

We’re transformed from black to white, so don’t get stained

Live with honor and sinless all the time

Do this, at least try, and in His favor you’ll remain
