Tranquility

John 14:27 New English Translation (NET Bible)

27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you;

I do not give it to you as the world does.

Do not let your hearts be distressed or lacking in courage.

Tranquility

Tie my words together ... built a soft refrain

Somewhere someone whispers ... the matching melody

Almost like the weather ... locking sunshine or rain

As time simply listens ... to the captured and the free

Weaving a web of wonder ... decorate with drops of tears

Glittering in the morning sun ... like a rainbow of diamonds

Take now time to ponder ... looking down through the years

To all the blessings done ... through God’s loving endowment

Yesterday in my pocket ... today in my heart

Ready to embrace ... the miracle of life

Postponement of the docket as judgment seems too far

For the human race ... lost in their constant strife
