TRAINED TO DRAIN

Fri, 05/17/2019 - 09:37 -- mwanja

The impact of your presence is like I’ve been hit by a train

You came into my life and all my sorrows you drained

A savior of whom my pains you’ve swept away

Can’t help but wonder if you are trained to drain

Into my heart is where you’ll always dwell

Coz with you around I know my heart will swell

With love so pure and stained not yet

It won’t matter if it's at sunrise or sunset

My wild heart has been captured and tamed

If this is what they call love I don’t want to hate

N I can’t keep playing them child games

For I can now be with the one trained to drain

The pain, the hate; no more I now admit

My broken heart pieces will now be fixed

As I submit my soul to the Love Retreat

Where my feelings will be sort out in the open field

I don’t want to be in the mix with the rest

For my soul has searched and found the nest

With the one true love and at bay are the rest

And forever more my days will no longer be gray.
