("Evil Queen" Perspective)

An evil mirror faces us all,

As our confidence starts to fall.

Doubt and insecurities cloud your head,

As the scars on your arm bled,

Nasty rumors flood the school,

You listen to their words that were just cruel,

Snow White who was fairest of them all,

Was also the mean ring leader in the mess hall,

The things that they said were untrue,

No one could understand what you're going through,

Your self-image is destroyed,

As your life feels like a void,

Sinking fast and sinking deep,

Wishing to fall into eternal sleep,

At home, your reflection stares back at you,

As your self-hatred grew,

Magazines show the beautiful, rich, and thin

Being ordinary is just a sin,

Judging yourself piece by piece,

Finding all the faults that never cease.

They dare say I am the evil queen,

But honestly, I am just an insecure teen...

Depression is a big illness in our society but this reflects the insecurities and the cruelty that the evil queen faced a modern twist in a different perspective
