Together for the Better
As we see the world turn today,
it looks as though we need to say
together for the better.
With arguments long and tensions high,
we begin to think they’ll never die.
Days of hate turn to nights of fire
Our world is hanging by thin, thin wire.
Perhaps there is a way to see the other side,
where love and peace forever lie.
It takes both hands of each to hold,
to come together as one tranquil mold.
So while we witness the stress and dismay,
we shall look to each other and say
together for the better.
