Today my life starts again.

I am done complaining

Or asking Why me?

The obstacle that I am choosing to overcome,

was not the trial itself, but

My Refusal to Believe,

That I could do something about it

 

Today I choose to break through

To move towards my dreams

To turn my dreams into reality

 

This life has taken me on a detour

One that I would not wish upon anyone

One that I would not change for myself

Who I am and Who I will be,

Is my choice!

 

And I choose to be an example

An example to those like me

An example to the people who forgot

That their choice is their's

 

Today I stop making excuses
