At times like these, you need someone to talk to

But there's no one to be found

So you turn to poetry

And it becomes your only outlet 

At times like these, pen and paper may be the only thing that will understand you

It will keep your secrets, unless you want them told

At times like these, friends are few and your all on your own

But poetry is right there

It never leaves you alone.
