Time to Crack this Nut - My Dream in a Nutshell.

I have been in school for thirteen years.

Why stop now? Why end here, and leave my peers?

It seems to me I still have  much to learn.

About people, places, and talents I've earned.

My interests are simple, be creative and free!

To get a higher education means completing a dream.

I've found my interests and goals are all one thing,

To be a voice actress, what happiness I'd bring!

This will be hard I know it for a fact,

But how can I deny that I love to act?

With college I will learn how to do it better.

With knowledge I will have confidence to be a go-getter.

At college, I want to meet people of all kinds of shapes, sizes, and types.

So I can be less ignorant and honor our flag's stars and stripes.

America is land of the free, and all people should be.

I know many though, who aren't accepted, you see.

So as I learn up at college, where ever I am,

I want to be that person who opens people's minds so no  one bullies 'them'.

Whoever 'they' are, if they're, black, white, larger, or skinnier, gay or straight.

It's nothing more than a human trait, and that doesn't mean they are any less great.

If acting is not my pace I have a back-up plan,  just in case,

to be a nurse, and help others in my dream's place.

Rewarding and helpful, my mom tells me.

She's been a NICU nurse since she was twenty-three!

No matter what I do, college will help me get there.

And I swear I'll get to a good school somewhere.

I'll work really hard each and every day.

To stand for what I believe and make sure my dream doesn't go away.
