I look around me and everyone is either trying to gain or to not lose time. People don’t realize that the more they search for time, the more they lose it.

A man runs down the street probably to not miss his interview for a job he desperately needs. However, he bumps into a woman, a woman that might just be the one. With time so scarce, he barely looks at her, modifying his fate forever.

A woman comes out of the bank with a bag seemingly full of money. She is probably in debt in the most unorthodox way, far from legal. She jitters rapidly, hoping to find her next move and gain cash fast. While in a frenzy, a newspaper vendor tries to sell her a scratch ticket. Losing time, she walks away. Two minutes later, someone buys the exact ticket: he wins ten thousand dollars.

A couple in the park is taking numerous videos of their twins, hoping to catch that remarkable moment. While filming the girls, a camera brakes. Rapidly trying to fix the camera in time to catch a moment, the couple misses their daughters’ first steps. Neither parent sees nor films the moment of time they were frantically trying to obtain.

Having time in life is truly the most rewarding thing. However, knowing how to cherish the moment seems too difficult for most people who hope to do so.
