Why should it bother me so?

The more that passes the more I know.

You can't get it back,

and you can't forget.

It buries you,

burdens, ages, and suffocates you.

It resurrects you,

reveals you, things you denied and said weren't true.

You misuse, underestimate, and can't comprehend it.

And when you are running out, you don't waste it.

Something overlooked until it is almost gone,

Wasted, procrastinated, and valued,

Cherished when the light is brighter than the sun.

Running before your eyes when you can't escape.

It can run faster than fate.

When knowledge accumulated becomes too great,

Man it will dissintegrate.

That way I can never understand,

Why time must run faster than man.
