Tightrope Act

.

She was walking the tightrope

With innocent ease

But great became her burden

She fell to her knees

She stood up right away

Threw her head back and laughed

“I guess walking the tightrope

Just isn’t my craft”

She tried to help others

By concealing the fact

That she was helpless

Her smile was an act
