Tiger, tiger now you are free to run through the night,
Free like a bird being released from it's cage.
Tiger, tiger your fur is like a flame
Glowing bright through the night.
Tiger, tiger your eyes shine as bright as
The glow of the moon.
Tiger, tiger I wish I was you, because I am
A slave never to know how freedom feels like
Or even to choose my own destiny in life.
Tiger, tiger run free through the night
For you are the light of freedom to those who
Are enslaved.
Tiger, tiger please come tonight for my people
And I need your light, to guide us through the night
For you are our guardian of the night,
And the giver of freedom for all of the enslaved
For you are the light of hope to us.
Tiger, tiger thank you,
For you have set us all free,
We now have our own
Paths to follow in this great,
Big world.
Tiger, tiger you are great and powerful
For you are almighty god.
