Through suffering ...

Romans 8:17

17 And since we are His children, we are His heirs.

In fact, together with Christ we are Heirs of God’s Glory.

But if we are to share His Glory, we must also share His Suffering.

Suffering children

What befalls some children ... does not appear like blessings.

To the naked eye of our mind ... it really seems not fair.

But in all fairness ... if the children’s diseases help adults

To turn to God ... would not you find blessings in their care?

God does not like suffering ... although it “made” Jesus perfect.

Suffering in the Spirit ... is more painful than suffering in flesh.

Do we make our flesh suffer ... for the pain we see in others

Are we ready to die in Spirit ... as Paul was willing for Israel?

We are more like “feeling sorry” ... but feeling does not justify.

It is like “well I feel for you” ... but that is just an emotion.

Emotion is not Godliness ... and surely not redemption

Although God loves “emotional” care ... as it may lead to devotion.

Hebrews 2:10

10 God, for whom and through whom everything was made,

chose to bring many children into glory. And it was only right

that He should make Jesus, through His Suffering, a perfect leader,

fit to bring them into their salvation.
