Through His Eyes

Through his eyes,
I see the lightening hot streaks of the soulless metallic demons weapons as they rain down death from the dark crimson skies.

I heard the brave and sorrowful last words of generations, fighting back burning tears, listening to their final cries.

I see the ashes, black, grey, hateful red tipped ends.
He wipes them away numbly as they char his hair and his skin.

I see the golden glory that was his home. Shimmering spirals that reached for the misty russet clouds. Falling from their former grace under a once unbreakable dome.

I see his hand tremble and feel both his hearts break at the terrible lonely decision he now must make.
I watch him reach for the "such an innocent word" button and plan his urgent escape.

Through his eyes I see,
Through all time and space,
He will never forget
Sweet Angel of Gallifrey,
He will save you yet
