A Thousand Faces

Location

Beauty bears a thousand faces,
Some less than obvious
The darkest paths in life
Can hold the richest treasures

Recall that day you failed?
The day they tore you down?
Then look around, you're still here
That misery moved on

Each challenge makes us think
Every obstacle strengthens us
The hardest stretch of life
Holds the greatest lesson

Blessings often hide in plain
Gifts are wrapped in dirty paper
What has come to pass
Made you ready to take everything on

Beauty bears a thousand faces
Including the brightest times and cherished flowers
Those flowers do not bloom however,
Without the toiled ground below.
