The Thoughts in The back of My Mind

If you only knew the thoughts that roamed in my head
My presence in your classroom you’d dread

“I don’t want to be hear”, “Your voice makes me itch” are all things that I whisper
You teach your monotonous lessons while I scroll my twitter

This meaningless information I’d rather not take heed
Because tangents and cosigns are things I’ll never need

My mind goes numb with every attempt of home work and you love it
If only I could tell you where to shove it

Getting me to pay attention to you is like a cat and mouse race
Because all I want to do is get out of this place

To my true feelings I am grateful that you are blind
Because you’d detest the thoughts in the back of my mind
