Those Roses

He ran to each car with roses in his hand,

The pain in his eyes is hard to understand,

No money ! No ease , just despair!

Helplessness wouldn’t even let him breath fresh air,

Each time he looked at the roses, tears filled his eyes,

Lost and devastated, he has started to believe destiny’s lies,

No one can notice his fake smile,

Not a single soul can see the scars he hides,

Even the sun’s heart aches for him,

All the skies and stars pity him,

Staring at the sky he said:”the thorns on these roses don’t hurt anymore,

Because I’m just a worthless thing everyone likes to ignore”
