The Thinner the Fliter the Stronger the Brew

Location

Would you pour me a cup

In a classic mug

The morning cup

Sweeter than a hug

Without all the gushy stuff

If only life was a simple as a

Cup of Joe in the morning

As the sun pierces the sky

And I need not realize the

Struggles yet

To come

But only bask in the pleasant company of

Joe

The real Joe

Not Steve

Not Jean

Nor Phil

Just Joe

The way he was meant to be

If only people were like Joe

Actually

Not the Joe you know

The Joe straight from the ground

Filterless

Pure

 Wholesome

Joe

Is constantly bombarded with

What society calls enhancements

But reality reveals as

Undercover polutants

Secrect dilutents

If onlyJoe could just be

Joe

Not

Mocha

Chai

Columbian

or Overly Exotic

Just plain ole Joe

But can Joe ever be just

Joe

Or is he what we make him

can Joe ever be just Joe

not a pleasant exscape

or mid day pick me up

Joe

Oh Joe

Can you ever be

Just Joe

Joes isnt so filterless after all

No, I Guess I'm Not
