I can think what I want

But saying and displaying aren’t always the way

She says paint a picture with words

So I will

 

She’s the teacher from down stairs

Whether this be the dungeons we call the lower level

Or down even farther, well that we can’t say

Or up the stairs you go all the way

 

Homework over break?

Who you kidding?

Man this is a load of something

But haul out the something and you’ll be hauled to the office

 

So a paint a picture, Really?

Alright, here we go     

Pens with no more ink, hands cramping, eyes strained

But you said it was due tomorrow

 

Oh you forgot you need one more lecture before we know it all

Well aren’t we just a bunch of know it alls

And man we know it all

It takes guts to take it all the way

 

Cause everyone knows

Think what you want, paint a picture in your mind

But say and display

Well, off to the office, you know the way
