Thine Mercies

I've yet mine eyes to see the day
That Grace doth fail renew
This hollow cup; my truths laid bare,
Thine merices, Lord, they see me through.

Yet oft' remains sin's hefty yoke,
And Adam's blood retains its hue.
Wait! Brighter yet is Christ's sweet cross!
Thine mercies, Lord, they heal me through.

Grace abounding, grace resounding
Through every hallway, every door-
For Thou alone can remedy,
And shattered faith restore.
